How to Arrive

Rhodes is accessible by air, with regular flights from Athens and other European cities, and by sea, with ferry connections to Athens, other Greek islands, and Turkey.


Flights to Rhodes

Rhodes International Airport "Diagoras" is among the four busiest airports in Greece. It receives domestic flights from Athens, Thessaloniki and other locations, while in summer it receives flights from many countries around Europe, too. The flight time from Athens to Rhodes is estimated around 50 minutes.
Upon the arrival on the island, it is a good idea to take a taxi, since the airport is located about 16 km away from Rhodes Town.


Ferries to Rhodes

You can easily reach Rhodes by ferry from Athens (Piraeus port), as there are available routes approximately 4 to 5 times per week. The trip lasts from 16 to 18 hours.
Apart from Athens, Rhodes is also connected by ferry with Kos, Patmos, Leros, Simi and more. There are also some ferry routes that link Rhodes with Heraklion and Karpathos, almost 3 times per week. Additionally, the port connects Marmaris in Turkey with Rhodes with frequent routes.

Mandraki Marina
Mandraki Harbor with its modern marina facilities, is a place of call for yachts visiting Rhodes. Located at the northern tip of Rhodes' capital, is a key starting point for cruises to nearby islands. Secure berths can be booked through local service agencies. The harbor offers essential amenities, including power, water, and fuel delivery services.
Rhodes Marina
The new Rhodes Marina is located near Rhodes medieval town on the shores of the Aegean Sea and offers a safe and fully functional base for short-term and extended stays. There is a yacht repair garage and a dry dock and can accept yachts over 100 meters and possesses about 400 berths. The marina can provide visitors with electricity, tap water, and wastewater tanks at every anchor point. Furthermore, you can find a car rental company, hotels, restaurants, and bars.

On the island, transportation options include buses, taxis, rental cars, and scooters, making it easy to explore the various attractions.
